JAMMU, Aug 21: The ARTO Office Reasi today conducted special drive against violations of Motor Vehicles Act (MVA) on Reasi-Ransoo road and challaned eight vehicles for violation of pressure horns and eight others for other kind of violations.
The teams realized Rs 14,500 fine from the violators on spot.
On receiving complaint that four-wheeler auto rickshaw was not plying on Ransoo-Kotla road, ARTO Rajesh Gupta issued directions for release of timetable for plying the auto rickshaw on the rout.
A route survey was also conducted from Ransoo to Chinar Sanger on public demand.
