JAMMU, Jan 23: Two mobiles phones were snatched by scooty riders in Gandhi Nagar and Sanjay Nagar areas.
As per police sources, a complaint has been lodged by Ankush Sharma with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that two persons on scooty snatched his mobile phone and Rs 6000 cash kept in the mobile cover.
Meanwhile, another person namely Yashpal also lodged a complaint with Police Station Gandhi Nagar regarding snatching of his mobile phone by a person riding on a scooty in Sanjay Nagar area.
Gandhi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that few days back, purse containing mobile phone, Rs 10,000 cash and other items were snatched from the mother of local IAS officer near Gurdwara Gandhi Nagar.
