JAMMU, Sept 27: The 7th District Jammu Kickboxing Championship, organized by the Jammu District Kickboxing Association and endorsed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, concluded at the Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
Shiksha Niketan School, Jeevan Nagar, claimed the overall champion title, while RM Public School secured second place, and Baba Jito Club finished third, based on total medals won across age groups. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 250 athletes from various schools, clubs, and colleges.
The closing ceremony featured Abhishek Jain, General Secretary of the Kickboxing Association, who presented medals to the winners. Ajay Verma, District President of the Kickboxing Association, attended as the Special Guest.
In his address, Jain commended Irfan Choudhry, General Secretary of the District Jammu Association, and Sudarshan Singh, Organizing Secretary, for their outstanding efforts in making the championship a success. He also acknowledged the dedication of the organizing team, including Deepanshu Gupta, Khushi and Manik Singh.
