JAMMU, Mar 20: The 4th edition of ‘Kailakh Sandesh Panchang Calendar’ was released here today by Shri Kailakh Jyotish evam Vedic Sansthan Trust. The calendar has been brought out by Mahant Rohit Shastri, Trust president.
The function was presided over by senior BJP leader, Sham Lal Sharma as chief guest while Director SSF Raj Bhawan J&K, Shakti Pathak was guest of honour; J&K BJP spokesman, Abhinav Sharma was special guest; Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department Jammu, K.K Sharma was the main speaker and Vice Chancellor SMVDU, Prof. R.K Sinha along with Dr. Rakesh Kumar Upadhyay were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma said that Panchang is an astrological diary which gives useful astrological information required by an astrologer.
Shakti Pathak said that Panchang is used to match current positions of planets with the positions of planets in a person’s astrological chart so as to find, and if required, to look ahead to find astrologically good days and times for that person.

On this occasion newly appointed Honorary Secretary of Red Cross Committee Jammu, Sat Pal Sharma; Dr. C.M Seth, Dr. Madan Jha, Dr. Suman Panth, Dr. Romesh Atri, Dr. Mohan Kumar, Seema, Anil Segal, Gagan Deep Singh, Inspector Rakesh Jamwal and Vijay Kumar were honoured for their remarkable contribution to the society.
