JAMMU, Mar 16: Election of Defence Accounts Pensioners Welfare Association (DAPWA) Jammu was held here by secret ballot under the supervision of P.P Sharma. Ashwani Trisal was elected as chairman of the Association for the sixth consecutive term.
After being elected as chairman, Trisal announced his new team which included Darshan Grover, vice chairman; Rashpal Digra, general secretary; Yash Pal Sharma, joint secretary; Raj Singh; finance secretary; Krishan Gopal, organising secretary; S.K Sharma, office secretary; D.V Sharma, joint organisation secretary and H.R Bhadur, member.
Earlier R.K Dogra, patron started the proceedings and highlighted achievements of the previous executive.
