JAMMU, May 11: The NISD Beauty & Designing Institute here today organised a grand celebration of talent and success with its annual ‘Achievers Award 2024’ event.
Dr. Manmeet Singh, Chairman Ranjit College of Education joined the event as chief guest and Shefali Verma, Senior Faculty, School of Fashion Design at Footwear Designing & Development Institute, Chandigarh with her team were special guests.
Manju Bala, Director of NISD Beauty & Designing Institute emphasized on the growing prominence of freelance opportunities in beauty and fashion industry.
She said that a total of 59 awards were given this year to achievers of which 7 were given to those NISD students who are doing jobs in different areas, 31 to those NISD students who are working as freelancer in different streams, 21 to NISD students running their own businesses in J&K.
The event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and professionals associated with NISD.
A handout stated that the Achievers Award 2024 witnessed a gathering of industry experts, students, faculty and supporters who came together to celebrate excellence and innovation in beauty and fashion.
