JAMMU, July 27: Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya conducted a surprise inspection of Sub District Hospital R.S Pura today. Additional District Development Commissioner, Sher Singh was also accompanying him.
During his visit, the DC meticulously reviewed the hospital’s facilities and services. He engaged with patients in the general patients ward, gathering their feedback on the treatment and amenities provided. His inspection extended to the hospital drug store, where he cross-verified the stock against official records to ensure accountability.
DC also took feedback from former patients and their families over phone calls. He encouraged the use of medicines from PM Jan Aushadhi Kendras, highlighting the affordability and accessibility of these outlets.
The DC noted significant improvements in the hospital’s functioning in recent months. He assured that patient feedback would be acted upon and that the demands of the local populace would be communicated to higher authorities. “The improvements noticed will continue to be built upon, and genuine feedback will be implemented to enhance hospital services,” remarked the DC.
Earlier in the day, DC Vaishya also inspected the Mission Vatsalya Open Shelter for Girls, managed by the Social Welfare Department.
