SAMBA, Aug 17: Humanity Public School (HPS) celebrated an event, formally inducting its new Student Council members into leadership roles. Held at the school’s Kabaddi field, the event marked a key moment in the school’s calendar, aiming to inspire students to embrace their new responsibilities with dedication and enthusiasm.
The ceremony was attended by School Principal Gaurav Charak, Vice-Principal Anku Charak, Administrator Officer Ravinder Sadhu, Senior Incharge Akashdeep Raina, and various other distinguished guests. Gayatri Singh Charak (12th) was appointed as Head Girl, and Surya Sharma (12th) as Head Boy. Bhumika Charak (11th) and Gurvinder Kumar (11th) were named Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy. Piyush Narania and Manyata Billowria (11th) were selected as School Sports Captains. Shubam Singh (11th) and Tushangi (12th) were elected Co-Curricular Prefects.
House Captains and Vice-Captains were also elected, with Afreen, Kritika Verma, Khushboo and Ananaya leading the houses of Agni, Akash, Prithvi, and Trishool, respectively. Principal Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal Anku Charak presented sashes and badges, symbolizing the new leaders’ commitment to their roles. Both emphasized the importance of leadership and encouraged the student leaders to set a positive example.
