Sir,
The possibility of holding elections in the very near future in JKUT is the buzz word these days and every political party is busy in garnering support in its favour. It is no denying the fact that BJP has done exceptionally well in a abolishing article 370 and 35A resulting in unprecedented development in building world class infrastructure, giving boost to tourist industry, strengthening grass root democracy, crushing militancy and insurgency with a very strong hand and impeccable political will, giving rights to many unrepresented and neglected sections of society, providing safety and security to every citizen to lead a happy, peaceful and prosperous life without any hassles within JKUT.
BJP is also trying its best to project its achievements in the UT in the last few years after the abolition of article 370. But we must not forget that there has been no elected government in the UT for a very long time and people in general may not be very happy with some of the faces in BJP which had been in the government previously. Moreover, people always want to see some new popular, clean, honest and energetic people who have a track record of long practical experience in the devoted and committed service of society. BJP has also very successfully tried this strategy in almost every state in the elections. I am a Businessman and the business has been facing many problems ever since the on set of Covid. Many medium and small scale businesses have almost collapsed. We have many experienced people in Jammu who can be of great help in solving these problems. Therefore, I suggest that some such candidates should be given prominent and respectful place on the the list of candidates for the upcoming elections..Therefore, we urge upon the authorities in the party to keep this factor in mind, rule out all chances of anti-incumbency and place before the voters a new and experienced team of candidates in the upcoming elections. This is imperative to ensure an impressive victory in the elections which will ultimately a strong stepping stone to install a BJP Government in the UT.
