Sir,
The recent attack in Bangladesh against the Govt in which the Prime Minister of the country fled is a matter of great concern for India. This revolt against the elected Govt in Bangladesh was planned one and deeply rooted. One is at a loss to understand how the Democracy in Bangladesh was attacked by the fundamentalists in which minorities got targetted in a painful way. They were ruthlessly killed, their houses were burnt and women were raped. .
The tragedy is that nobody in Bangladesh came to their rescue. People outside Bangladesh remained silent spectators except some protests in India which were not enough to shake the world. The poor minorities in Bangladesh have come on roads and begged for their survival on our border too which was a pathetic picture. The wearer knows the pain where the shoe pinches. Let us arise from the slumber and cooperate with Govt of India in visualisation of the developments taking place, that need to be nipped in the bud as early as possible. We urge the Govt to ensure safety of Hindus, and other religious minorities in Bangladesh.
