JAMMU, Aug 22: Senior Indian Express (IE) journalist Arun Sharma sustained multiple fractures and injuries after he was hit by an unknown vehicle here.
Sharma was on way to his residence on foot on Wednesday evening when he was hit by a red-coloured vehicle, possibly a Duster, near Moti Bazaar area, leaving him grievously injured.
After committing the crime, the driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot.
Sharma, who is hospitalised, has confirmed to have received multiple fractures and injuries in the accident.
Meanwhile, acting on the written complaint of Indian Express scribe, a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Post Chowk Chabutra and further investigation taken up.
