RAMBAN, Aug 24: Police here recovered the dead body of a youth under suspicious circumstances late last night.
Ramban Police Station received information from reliable sources that body of a man was laying in Ward number 1, Ramban.
On getting information cops rushed to the spot and examine the scene where body was laying and then shifted it to the mortuary of District Hospital Ramban for identification and post-mortem.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Vijay Kotwal informed that the deceased was identified as Mohammad Muzamil Sheikh, 24, son of Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Banihal.
After legal formalities the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Police has started registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
