JAMMU, Sept 12: Shiv Sena is organising 45th Annual Charri Yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on October 2, 2024.
This was informed by Ashwani Gupta, Shiv Sena State president for J&K during a press conference here today. He said that Charri Yatra will start from MAM Stadium at 4 pm on October 2 and will pass through Jewel Chowk, Purani Mandi, Parade, Kachi Chawni and Panjtirthi before leaving for Katra.
Gupta further informed that in addition to local Shiv Sena cadre some senior Shiv Sena leaders along with MPs and MLAs from Maharashtra will also be joining the Yatra.
He appealed the people from all walks of life to join the Yatra and get blessings of the Goddess.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Bhat, State secretary (Org.) appealed the J&K Government to ban the selling of meat and liquor during the upcoming Navratra days.
