JAMMU, Sept 12: Jammu South candidate of Apni Party, Pavneet Kour has claimed that Sikh concerns were ignored by traditional political parties.
She criticized both the BJP and Congress for using the Sikh community solely for votes without addressing their concerns and issues.
The Apni Party leader urged the members of Sikh community to support her in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Kour said that Apni Party’s election symbol is ‘Bat’ and called upon the voters of Jammu South to stand by her emphasizing the need for change and unity.
“We should not be taken for granted. If elected, I promise to make Punjabi as official language of J&K and work tirelessly to uplift the Sikh community,” she maintained in a handout.
Kour reaffirmed her commitment to her Party’s vision of drug-free youth, empowerment of women and better opportunities for the members of Sikh community in Jammu South.
