JAMMU, Sept 16: The Promo of the MMM Medical Centre Jammu Duathlon 70.3 Edition-5 was organized today, attracting enthusiastic participation from runners and cyclists from various walks of life. The event took place along the picturesque New Ring Road route, with participants thoroughly enjoying the experience and the scenic beauty. This promotional run served as a prelude to the highly anticipated main event scheduled for November 17.
The main event will feature multiple categories catering to different age groups and fitness levels such as Sprint Duathlon: 1.5 km run, 20 km cycle, 3 km run (12–18 years), Olympic Duathlon: 1.5 km run, 40 km cycle, 10 km run (16 years and above) with a cutoff time of 4:30 hours. Duathlon 70.3: 1.9 km run, 90 km cycle, 21 km run (18 years and above) with a cutoff time of 8:30 hours. Relay (Team of 2) Olympic Duathlon: 1.5 km run, 40 km cycle, 10 km run (16 years and above) with a cutoff time of 4:30 hours. Relay (Team of 2) Duathlon 70.3: 1.9 km run, 90 km cycle, 21 km run (18 years and above) with a cutoff time of 8:30 hours.
Participants can choose from the Sprint Duathlon, Olympic Duathlon, Duathlon 70.3, and team relay events, ensuring a broad appeal for both individuals and teams. The upcoming event promises to be a day filled with endurance, sportsmanship and excitement.
