UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: R S Pathania, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Udhampur East, has ramped up his election campaign with a series of meetings held at various locations across the constituencies, including Patri (Kuh Nallah), Barta, Ritti, Battal, Lodana, Rathian, Fangial, Meladi, Malhar, Darsoo, Darsoo Nallah, Manwal among others.
During these gatherings, Pathania addressed pressing issues, emphasizing that voting against the BJP equates to voting against the very essence of India.
In light of recent statements made by Pakistan’s Defence Minister regarding Kashmir and the Congress-National Conference (NC) coalition, Pathania asserted that such comments expose the deep-rooted connections these political parties have with anti-national elements. “The security situation in our region is fragile, and we cannot afford to support parties that compromise our nation’s integrity,” he stated.
The campaign meetings saw a strong turnout of prominent community members, including Ashish Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Sunita Sharma, Subhash Sharma, Puran Chand Sharma, Parveen Aryan, Ravinder Karmaveer, Aarti Sharma, Professor Romal Singh, among others.
“Together, we must stand united against any forces that threaten our nation. The BJP is dedicated to safeguarding our interests and promoting development that benefits every citizen,” Pathania said during the meetings.
