JAMMU, Sept 21: Reacting to Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement against the BJP, Union Minister G Kishen Reddy today stated that it was Congress party’s Government that fed Biryani to 26/11 mastermind Ajmal Kasab.
In a press conference, Mallikarjun Kharge had referred to relationship of BJP and Pakistan with “Mohabbat Hamare Saath, Shaadi Pakistan Ke Saath” jibe.
“It was Congress Party in power in the Centre and in Maharashtra when Ajmal Kasab, who was responsible for 26/11 Mumbai attack, was fed Biryani in the jail,” Reddy said in a statement.
According to the Union Minister, Congress wants to establish Jinnah’s Constitution along with their partner National Conference by abolishing the Ambedkar’s Constitution by restoring Article 370.
“Many INDI Alliance partners led by the Congress get mangoes as gifts from Pakistan High Commission,” Reddy said, adding that this shows that the Congress party and Pakistan are on the same page.
Retorting Kharge’s statement on PM Modi and HM Amit Shah, Reddy said that voter turnout in Valley has increased considerably due to the development in Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“It is only due to the efforts of PM Modi and HM Amit Shah that youth are no longer resorting to stone pelting and are coming out in large numbers to vote to strengthen the democracy in Valley,” Reddy said.
