Sir,
The initiative to expedite 4G connectivity across Jammu and Kashmir is crucial for bridging the region’s digital divide. Reliable internet access is essential for education, healthcare, and economic growth, particularly in remote and mountainous areas.
However, the slow progress, with only 122 operational sites, is concerning. Delays due to poor coordination between service providers and Government departments, especially in providing electricity connections, need urgent resolution.
Swift action is required to avoid further setbacks.
To ensure the success of this vital project, the government must prioritize better inter-departmental coordination and swift land allotment procedures.
With faster execution, J&K can unlock its full potential in the digital age, providing its people with the opportunities they deserve.
