SAMBA, Apr 27: A lady pillion rider died while motorcyclist was injured in a road accident at Peer Chatala road near Police Station Bari Brahmana, after the Two Wheeler was hit by a truck this afternoon.
She has been identified as Rani Devi, 56, wife of Parshotam Lal of Bishanah. Her husband who was driving the motor cycle was also injured.
As per reports the motorcycle was hit by a truck bearing registration number RJ-18GB/5205 which was in fast speed. The dead body has been taken to mortuary of GMC Jammu for postmortem. The injured has also been hospitalized. The Bari Brahmana Police has taken the cognizance of the matter.
