RAJOURI, Aug 24: As a part of heightened security measure in view of Assembly polls, an area domination route march was conducted by administration in Rajouri.
DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, Tejinder Singh DM Rajouri Abhishek Sharma SSP Rajouri Randeep Kumar and other senior officers of District Rajouri were part of this route march.
The march started from District Police Lines Rajouri and passed through main town and peripheral areas that included Gujjar Mandi, Bela Bridge, Main Bus Stand, City Chowk, Tehsil Chowk, Dhaki Bazaar and Abdullah bridge.
The officers of administration besides area familiarisation during this route march also visited some Government buildings where polling stations are to be established in upcoming legislative Assemblies poll.
Other aspects of main town Rajouri were also supervised during this route march while officers also met with some civil society members and listened to general issues.
