JAMMU, Sept 3: Senior BJP leader and BJP candidate from Jammu West Assembly segment, Arvind Gupta today sought the support from the people for a prosperous and secure J&K.
Continuing his election campaign, Gupta called the people to extend their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Addressing a series of public gatherings, Gupta outlined how the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has spearheaded transformative development initiatives that have greatly improved infrastructure, healthcare, education and overall quality of life in the region.
“Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented development under the BJP’s Governance. From improved road networks to new educational institutions and enhanced healthcare facilities, we have delivered on our promise of progress,” he said.
Gupta also criticized regional parties, accusing them of giving “step-motherly treatment” to the people of Jammu region for decades.
“For far too long, the regional parties have focused solely on their political interests, neglecting the aspirations and needs of Jammu’s people. They have divided the State on regional lines and ignored the development of this vital region. Their bias against Jammu is clear from their lack of focus on its infrastructure and welfare,” he added.
Gupta said that the BJP has always treated all regions of Jammu & Kashmir equally, with a focus on inclusive development and added that the BJP is the only party that has worked to bridge the gap between different regions and ensure that every citizen, whether from Jammu, Kashmir or Ladakh, benefitted from the government’s development initiatives.
He urged the people to support the BJP to sustain the ongoing spree of development and secure a bright future for our region.”
Among others who were present included District president Parmod Kapahi, senior BJP leader Brijesh Gupta, Mandal president Keshav Chopra, ex Mayor Dharam Veer Singh Jamwal, ex Corporators Neelam Nargotra, Jeet Angral and Surinder Chowdhary.
