JAMMU, May 18: Bee Enn Care here today organized a contact programme especially for the internship students at Bee Enn General Hospital Complex (NABH).
Dr. Chand Trehan, Director Bee Enn Care and Bee Enn Charitable Trust headed by Kunil Bhalla and Neelam Bhalla in collaboration had launched a meticulously planned internship programme for the students of Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Educationists and Teaching to focus on skill building and contribute to the state proficient counselors.
Till date more than 100 students have benefitted by this unique internship programme which focuses on counseling skills.
Prof. Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director, SCERT, Jammu Division was chief guest and she facilitated various students with certificates. Today’s occasion was graced by eminent personalities.
Dr. Sarita Sood, Assistant Professor Psychology Department, Jammu University and Dr. Renu Gupta, Chairman MIER College were guests of honour.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director IGNOU, Jammu was special invitee.
A handout stated that the internship programme was in hybrid mode and students are being trained online and offline as to how to handle cases and help people to cope with behavioral issues, mental health issues etc.
The focus is on learning skills to implement what they have learnt in the books while doing degrees.
