KATHUA, Sept 1: BJP candidate from Hiranagar constituency, Vijay Sharma attended series of election rallies in border villages at Kore Punny, Salalpur, areas. While addressing the public rallies he said that the NDA Government under the leadership of PM Modi, restored peace on borders as the Pakistan could not dare to open fire in border areas.
He said in the past the border residents faced ceasefire violence, regular migration , and dislocation from their homes. The BJP Government has constructed bunkers for border residents and also strictly implemented ceasefire. Now in the whole world PM Modi is considered the tallest leader and everyone in world respects him.
He said the Pakistan has kept mum on Kashmir issue and stopped indiscriminate firing which caused serious problems for border residents. Among other MLA, Pathankot Ashwani Kumar, who is also Prabhari of Kathua district addressed the rallies.
On the occasion MLA Ashwani Kumar said that “I have visited all six constituencies of Kathua district and got good response of public in favour of BJP. The people have made their mind to vote for BJP. It is due to all round development and change in the scenario of J&K with the vision of PM Modi’s leadership. The militancy is on last stage and people were playing with stones in Kashmir as Modi changed their mindset and they are working for peace and prosperity of J&K.
He said the number of tourist visiting Kashmir last year beat all previous records. The people of Jammu as well as Kashmir have now shown full confidence on BJP Government.
