BANI, Sept 18: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today sought support in favour of BJP candidate, Jiwan Lal in Bani, here today.
In this regard, Dhami also addressed a public meeting in Bani.
Addressing to the people, Dhami said that the land of Bani is a land of historical culture and sacrifice. A new chapter is being written in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, “The first phase of polling is underway in Jammu and Kashmir. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are voting in large numbers. People’s faith and confidence in democracy has increased. A new chapter of development has begun in Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state has moved ahead towards development and peace. After the abolition of Article 370 under the leadership of Prime Minister, there has been a new wave of development in Jammu and Kashmir, which is directly benefiting the people of Jammu.”
The Chief Minister said that with the blessings of the people of Bani, BJP candidate Jiwan Lal would definitely win the election. Jiwan Lal is continuously working in the service of the people of Bani.
“This election is going to be very historic. For the first time since Independence, voting is going to be held in Jammu and Kashmir under one flag, one Constitution. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, work has been done on the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” he said.
Dhami said, “On the one hand, the creation of a secure and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir is Modi guaranteed. On the other hand, parties like Congress, PDP, National Conference have promises to bring back Article 370. Jammu and Kashmir has been gifted to terrorism and separatism by opposition parties for 30 years. Congress, PDP, National Conference leaders pushed Jammu and Kashmir into the quagmire of corruption.”
“This Assembly election is between three families and youth of Jammu and Kashmir. The children of the country know about the scam of Congress. The aim of Congress, PDP, National Conference is to run their shop by nurturing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, “he added.
Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh, BJP candidate Jiwan Lal, district in-charge Jangvir Singh, Ajay Veer Pal, Uttam Singh and others were present on the occasion.
