JAMMU, Sept 3: Anti-dengue fogging drive and awareness program was today started by Dr. Devansh Yadav Commissioner JMC Jammu in Trikuta Nagar.
Rajinder P. Kakkar, President Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) welcomed the JMC commissioner and his team for starting the fogging drive and awareness programme in their colony.
The commissioner JMC has issued clear cut directions to health wing of JMC to put in place the sufficient number of men and machinery, so that every nook and corner of the Trikuta Nagar colony and Jammu city can be covered in respect of fogging to avoid the chance of dengue cases.
He also appreciated the efforts of TNWS team, health wing of JMC and anti-malaria team for launching such fogging drives.
The members of TNWS colony assured the commissioner JMC for full cooperation and support in eradicating the menace of dengue and other services provided by JMC in near future.
Among others who were present on the occasion included D J Raina, Health officer JMC Dr Vinod Sharma, Ashok Kumar Arora, Harshvardhan Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Sandeep Sharma and Amarjeet Singh.
