MAHORE, May 23: Continuing its drive against spread of narcotics and psychotropic substances, Police today arrested a drug peddler in Mahore and seized 175 grams cannabis from his possession.
A Police team of Police Station Mahore, led by SHO Mohd Aslam Choudhary, laid a naka near Budhan area and intercepted the accused, identified as Yasir Arafat (26) of Kote Budhan, Tehsil Thuroo.
During his search, 14 Chhallis, weighing 175 grams of Cannabis were recovered from his possession. The said accused was arrested and the recovered cannabis was seized.
In this connection, case FIR number 30/2020, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Mahore.
