R.S PURA, Mar 26: Sarpanch of Panchayat Gandli in R.S Pura and general secretary of All J&K Panchayat Conference, Gurdeep Singh Saini today started construction of drain in village Gandli.
The work will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 2 lakh.
Speaking on this occasion, Gurdeep Singh said after completion of construction of the drain under the first phase, the construction work of second phase has been started today so that people do not face any problem during rainy days.
He said that no stone is being left unturned in providing better education, health and other basic facilities to the people of the Panchayat.
The Sarpanch said that all the promises made by him during Panchayat elections are being fulfilled and the development works are being done at a fast pace.
He said that PM Modi led government at the Centre is continuously providing funds for the development of Panchayats due to which development works are being done at a rapid pace.
Locals including Naib Sarpanch Pyarelal, Panch Pawan Singh, Panch Satya Devi, S. Harjinder Singh, Darshan Singh, Amar Singh Charak and others were also present on the occasion.
