JAMMU, Sept 24: Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana organised Youth Talent Search Competition, Nukkad Natak in the school premises.
The competition was organised among nine different reputed schools of Jammu.
The participants of this competition were students of class 9.
All the dignitaries were welcomed by Principal of the School, Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal, Anku Charak.
The function started with lighting of traditional lamp by Principal, Vice Principal, Judges of the event-Ajay Kumar Gupta, president, JKPSA, Deepak Handa, senior vice president JKPSA and other dignitaries.
Gayatri Singh Charak, Head Girl of the School delivered welcome address.
Mementos were presented to the judges and bouquets to the special guests including Neeru Puri, Principal S.D Tarapuri High School, Esther William, Principal Alexander Memorial High School, Usha Jamwal, Principal Bhagwati Haqeeqat Memorial Public School, Prabha Jain, Principal New Era Environmental Public High School, Rajini Gupta, Chairperson and Trustee of JK Montessori Senior Secondary School, Vasudha, MD Elite Public School and Anita Koul, Principal of Playway House Higher Secondary School.
The competition began with Nukkad Natak on various themes like Mehangai (Humanity Public School), Drugs Addiction (S.D Tarapuri High School), Nyay Hi Dharam Hai (Alexander Memorial School), Stop Child Abuse (Bhagwati Haqiquat Memorial Public School), Say No To Plastic (New Era Environmental High School), Uses and Abuses of mobile phone (Bikram Memorial High School), Beti Bachao (JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School), Importance of a Farmer (Playway House Higher Secondary School) and Pakadwa Vivah (Elite Public School).
The first position was bagged by Alexander Memorial Public School, Bhagwati Haqiquat Memorial Public School stood second and the third position was secured by Elite Public School.
The winners were awarded with mementos and certificates by the Judges.
The programme was hosted by Prachi and Angel of class 8th and Manyata (Sports Secretary of the School). At last, Shubham Singhania (CCA Prefect) presented the vote of thanks.
