JAMMU, Sept 7: In-charge BJP All Cells J&K, Rakesh Mahajan has said that Jammu-Poonch Rail Link via Rajouri, as announced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is a transformative move that will significantly improve connectivity in the region.
Mahajan said that he took up the demand many times with the leadership and finally the dream is coming true.
“This rail link will also pave the way for economic growth in the region,” he said in a meeting in which Ved Sharma, Co-incharge BJP All Cells; S.K Sharma, State convenor Professional Cell; Sham Langer, convenor Trade Cell; J.D Singh, Mukherjee Sharma, Puneet Mahajan, Surjeet Choudhary, Ashutosh Gupta, Ravi Bakshi, Pawan Singh and Kulveer Charak were also present.
Mahajan said that BJP Government has recently granted ST reservation to the people of Rajouri and Poonch and now the announcement of Jammu-Poonch Rail Link and development of Thannamandi as new tourist destination will boost the economic growth and create new opportunities for the region.
He urged the people of J&K to support BJP candidates in upcoming Assembly elections.
Ved Sharma said that no power can stop BJP to form next Government in J&K.
