JTC highlights problems of displaced Pandits

JAMMU, Jan 4: In a meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) held under the chairmanship of president of JTC /SKF Shadi Lal Pandita various issues confronting the displaced community were discussed.
During the meeting a resolution was passed in which appeal was made to both Union Government and Lt. Governor, G C Murmu to enhance the cash relief of Kashmiri migrants to Rs 25,000 per family per month.
The resolution also demanded rehabilitation of over-aged displaced youth who are the worst hit by the turmoil. It alleged that Government has failed to solve their genuine problems and hence a special package be given to them. It further demanded creation of 3000 Class IV posts and special employment package for the displaced youth. PL Thusoo chairman of the Front was also present in the meeting.
