Srinagar, May 11: The Volleyball Intramural activities for M.P.Ed students organised by the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, University of Kashmir concluded here today.
The chief guests at the event were the Registrar, Professor Dr Naseer Iqbal and Dr Mandeep Singh, Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports. Dr Surjeet Singh, Senior Assistant Professor and Incharge Intramural along with other faculty members including Dr Nasir, Dr Iftikhar & Dr Kabir were also present there.
Prof (Dr) Naseer Iqbal congratulated the Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports for organising such events providing students the ample opportunity to learn & grow. He also assured them to provide their full support wherever needed. He also encouraged both the finalist teams & all other students with their warm words.
The final match, Real Strikers showed their total dominance by winning both of the first two sets, emerging as winners beating KU Hunters by 2-0 sets.
In the post match presentation were Dr Mandeep Singh, Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports along with Dr Surjeet Singh, Incharge Intramural & rest of the faculty members. All the dignitaries were felicitated with the mementos by the organisers.
Further, all players from both the finalist teams were awarded medals. The captains of winners and runners up teams received their respective trophies.
