SRINAGAR, Sept 24: The two-day event, District Pulwama Softball Championship 2024-25 organized by Softball Association of Pulwama in collaboration with J&K Sports Council concluded at Sports Stadium, Bajwani, Tral.
The event was graced by Secretary J&K Softball Association, Waseem Raja Khan, as chief guest while Chairman Citizens Council Tral, Farooq Trali and Mohammad Akram, Incharge, Sports Stadium Bajwani, Tral were guests of honour.
International Softball Athlete Ayush Singh who has recently been assigned to train J&K Junior Softball team at Srinagar also graced the concluding ceremony as special guest.
Siraj Ud Din Dar, EC member of JKSA was present as Observer.
Vote of thanks was given by Feroz Ahmad Bhat, Secretary Softball Association Pulwama.
Winner of the championship was Leeniv Softball Academy, runner up was Friend’s Softball Club and third place was achieved by Warriors Softball Club.
In women section, winner was Leeniv Softball Academy, runner up was Government Degree College, Pampore and third place was won by Young Queen’s Softball Club.
In junior boys winner was Hero’s Softball Club, runner up was Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Bajwani and third place was won by Star Softball Club, Bajwani.
In junior girls, winner was WAIS Softball Club, runner up was Akmal Institute, Tral and third place was grabbed by Salfia Softball Club.
In Sub Junior Boys, winner was Murad Softball Club, runner up was London Kids School, Tral and third place was won by Ayat Softball Academy.
In sub junior girls, winner was Hiller Softball Club, runner up was Little Angels Softball Academy, Tral and third place was won by Young Hawk Softball, Tral.
