RAJOURI, Sept 17: A middle- aged man was died after he fell down from a hill in Gambhir Muglan area while dead body of a villager who washed away in Mannawar river in Nowshera sector last evening was recovered today.
A police spokesman said that 37-year-old, Abdul Hamid, son of Noor Hussain, resident of Gambhir Muglan, had gone to Kattar Mal to cut grass in relatives’ land. He fell down from a hill while cutting grass and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the dead body of an Irrigation Department employee, Attar Singh, son of Mangal Singh, resident of Jagira village, who was washed away in river Mannawar while going home, was recovered down stream this evening. The police after completion of legal formalities handed over the body to the family.
