SAMBA, Aug 6: A lady died and her son was injured in a road accident that occurred in industrial area SIDCO Chowk under Police Station, Bari-Brahmana of Samba District today.
According to the reports both were riding on motorcycle. The motorcyclist lost control and hit the road divider resulting in both being injured. With the help of locals and Police personnel, the injured were shifted to a nearby Hospital where doctors declared the lady as brought dead and another injured shifted to GMC Jammu for better treatment. The deceased was identified as Asha Rani, 55, Wife of Omkar of Dinga Amb, Hiranagar, Kathua district while injured person was identified as 35 years old Balwant Verma son of Omkar of Dinga Amb, Hiranagar Kathua district. In this regard Bari-Brahmana Police has registered a case and started investigation.
