JAMMU, Sept 18: Yudhvir Sethi, senior BJP leader and candidate for Jammu East constituency, highlighted the significant improvements in the quality of life for senior citizens under the Modi Government’s policies.
Addressing a meeting of senior citizens as part of his election campaign, Sethi emphasized the Government’s commitment to enhancing the lives of the elderly through various welfare schemes. He pointed out that the Modi Government has launched numerous initiatives specifically aimed at benefiting senior citizens. These include enhanced pension schemes, improved healthcare facilities under Ayushman Bharat, and special programmes to ensure their well-being and security.
Intensifying his poll campaign, Yudhvir Sethi conducted a door-to-door outreach near DC office area in Ward No. 5 and also at Ward No. 16, and held a public meeting at Lower Mast Garh, Ward No. 3. He also interacted with local residents to discuss their concerns and explained the benefits of the BJP’s policies.
Sethi also criticized the previous Governments led by the National Conference (NC) and Congress, accusing them of neglecting the people and prioritizing their own interests over public welfare. “Successive Governments under NC and Congress have failed the people of Jammu and Kashmir, enriching themselves while neglecting the needs of the common citizen. It is time for a change,” he asserted.
Appealing to voters, Sethi urged them to vote and support him in the upcoming elections to continue building on the progress made. “Your vote is crucial for sustaining the momentum of development and ensuring that our senior citizens continue to receive the support they deserve. “Let us work together to keep advancing and make Jammu East a model constituency for all,” Sethi said.
Sethi reaffirmed the BJP’s dedication to working for all sections of society, ensuring that every individual, including senior citizens, receives the support and care they deserve.
