POONCH, July 8: Former J&K Chief Minister and National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that NC will ensure the development of Pir Panjal (PP) and Chenab regions.
Addressing series of public meetings at Gali Pandi, Mandi, Sawjian and Gagarian area of district Poonch today, Dr Farooq said that the NC when comes to power will prioritise the holistic development of Chenab and Pir Panjal regions to make sure these regions reach their full potential.
He said that people of these areas have suffered a lot during BJP regime and they are bearing the brunt of the anti-people and anti-poor policies of this regime. There is no development and the condition of roads have turned worst. There are no teachers in government schools and power and water supply has been badly hit.
The NC leader interacted with the people, listened to their problems, and thanked them for their votes and support for Mian Altaf in the Parliamentary elections.
This visit was a demonstration of the commitment and dedication of the party leadership to connect with the people, understand their concerns, and express appreciation for their continued support.
Provincial president of NC for Jammu, Ratan Lal Gupta, and YNC Provincial president Jammu Ajaz Jan accompanied Farooq on the visit. They met with the people, extended greetings, and expressed gratitude for their votes and support for Mian Altaf.
