JAMMU, Aug 14: A patriotic song `Bharat He Hai Mera Watan’ sung by Kanwal Peshin who has also given its lyrics was released here, today by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants, Dr Arvind Karvani on the eve of Independence Day.
The music of the song was composed by Ravi Bhan and it was recreated and recorded by Rajesh Khar of Kong Posh. The song has been directed and edited by Abhimanyu Peshin and produced by Athrot Cultural Foundation an organisation dedicated to preservation and promotion of language and culture.
Dr Arvind Karwani Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner(M), J&K was honoured by Athrot Cultural Foundation for organizing this year Tulmull Yatra smoothly and efficiently a Pratima of Mata Kheerbhawani was presented to him by Athrot Cultural Foundation along with Dr Rohit Koul and Muktesh Yogi youth activists.
While releasing the song, Dr Arvind Karwani appreciated the Athrot Cultural Foundation for its tireless work to preserve culture and language in exile. He said Kanwal Peshin has wonderfully written and sung patriotic song `Bharat He Hai Mera Watan’. The song is a tribute from Kashmiri Pandit to martyrs who laid down their lives for independence of country and applauds the farmers, security forces and simultaneously the people for maintaining communal harmony despite many provocations.
Praising the country and praying for the well being of all countrymen has been focused with a brilliant video presentation under the Direction of Abhimanyu Peshin, Director Athrot Cultural Foundation. The song was released on Athrot Productions YouTube Channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page after watching it live by the chief guest, Dr Arvind Karwani.
