Srinagar, June 26: In order to promote educational activities and support students, the police, in collaboration with the Municipal Council Ganderbal (MCG), established a library and reading room in the Municipal Building at the new Bus Stand Ganderbal today.
SSP Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta, inaugurated the library. Addl. SP Ganderbal Malik Aijaz, Gh Hassan DySP Hqrs Ganderbal, DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal, teachers, students, civil society members, dignitaries, and the media fraternity were present.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal stressed the importance of serious studies for a better and successful future.
He also encouraged students to participate in sports activities, highlighting that such activities help boost self-confidence, concentration, and both physical and mental health.
Furthermore, he stated that students should make optimum use of their time, channeling their energy in the right directions, and take full advantage of the newly established library in the district.
The community members, teachers, and especially the students, expressed their joy, appreciating the role of police in providing such facilities.
