ANANTNAG, Sept 29: Prof Rasmita Das (RD) Swain, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and Jammu and Kashmir Police Public Schools (PPS), today inaugurated the newly constructed building of Police Public School Anantnag.
A statement said that the event was attended by DIG SKR Javid Iqbal and SSP Anantnag Dr GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, along with Prof Swain.
The new facility, equipped with modern amenities, aims to provide an enhanced learning environment for students and contribute to the community’s development.
In her address, Prof Swain emphasized the importance of quality education in shaping the future of J&K’s youth. She expressed hope that the upgraded school would promote academic excellence and holistic growth.
The ceremony featured cultural performances by students, followed by a tree-planting initiative led by Prof Swain to promote ecological awareness.
