JAMMU, Aug 12: The inmates of Jagti township have expressed their grave concern over denial of flour to relief holders by the Government.
In a statement issued here, today Sunil Pandita, Dilip Kumar and Vijay Koul the social activists said with denial of flour to migrants since March this year, they have been forced to purchase it on higher rates in the open market. They said relief holders getting meager cash doles for sustenance are unable to purchase the flour in open market on exorbitant rates.
They in an appeal to Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha turned his attention towards this issue and requested him to issue orders for release of flour quota to migrant relief holders.
