RAMBAN, Apr 22: Police here today arrested a liquor smuggler along with illicit liquor.
Inspector Manoj Sharma, SHO Police Station Dharamkund along with cops while patrolling and traffic checking duty apprehended one Baldev Singh son of Munshi Ram resident of Kanga, Ramban and recovered 13 bottles of JK Special Whiskey (DMB-2 and Oakland-11) of 750 ml each and two cans of Kingfisher beer of 500 ml each from his possession.
An FIR with number 16/2023 U/S 48(a) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Dharamkund in this regard and investigation was being carried on by PSI Kanwaljit Singh.
The recovery was made by Inspector Manoj Sharma, SHO Dharamkund under the supervision of Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool with the overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
