SRI LANKA, July 12: Sri Lanka plans to hire Hindi language teachers for schools, according to State Minister of Education Aravindh Kumar.
These tutors will be among 500 foreign language teachers to be recruited by the island nation, the minister was quoted as saying by the Sri Lankan news portal, Economy Next on Friday.
‘We will be giving priority to Korean, German, French, Hindi, Chinese and Japanese,” Aravindh Kumar said.
Kumar emphasised the importance of teaching foreign languages to graduates for their future job prospects in foreign countries. (UNI)
