SRINAGAR, Sept 29: Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Dooru, under the supervision of the Chairperson and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag, organized an environmental protection rally today.
The event was held in close collaboration with the Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute, Dooru, demonstrating a united front between the legal community and educational institutions in the fight for environmental conservation.
The rally, which saw enthusiastic participation from students and legal professionals alike, began at the Munsiff Court Dooru, and concluded at the serene Bakshi Park, Dooru. Students from Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute actively took part in the march, carrying banners and chanting slogans advocating for environmental protection.
Aarizoo Javaid, Chairperson of TLSC (Munsiff) Dooru, Aadil Rasheed (Assistant Public Prosecutor, Dooru), along with the president and secretary of the Bar Association, Dooru, and other penal lawyers, actively participated in the rally. In addition to the rally, a clean-up drive was also conducted, further reinforcing the message of environmental stewardship and the importance of maintaining clean and green surroundings.
The event was further enriched by the presence of teachers, students, and the Principal of Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute.
One of the key moments of the event was a thought-provoking address by Farooq Ahmad Ganai, a respected member of the Bar Association.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Aarizoo Javaid.
