Jammu, Aug 5: Tawi Welfare Society today organised programme for meritorious students of 10th and 12th Class Session 2023-24 at Apnavan Sure Chak in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family Jammu. In the program, 86 students of different schools of Tawi Island and its surrounding area were felicitated.
Geetu Aulakh, Member District Development Council Jammu was the chief guest of the function. The speakers congratulated the students for their brilliant success in the examination. They advised them to work hard in future also to achieve their goals and aims.
Since they are the future of India they should cultivate good manners and etiquettes in them to become good citizens of the country.
Many other dignitaries including Padmashree S.P.Verma, Dr. Vijay Sharma, BMO CHC Sohanjana, Gopal Sharma DFO (retired), Dr. Anjana Kapoor Principal Government Higher Secondary School Mandal, Raj Kumar Director SOB, Ved Verma renowned businessman and social worker, Colonel Som Nath Dogra, former Sarpanch, a Team of All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association Jammu Vishal Verma, Arvind Bhat and Rakesh Kumar who also sponsored the program were present at this occasion.
